Roof Top Tent
The Front Runner Feather-Lite Roof Top Tent is a lightweight, low-profile roof tent designed for two travellers who want a simple and comfortable way to camp. Its lightweight design makes it particularly well suited to compact SUVs and vehicles such as the Volkswagen Tiguan, as well as a wide range of other vehicles fitted with suitable roof racks. It’s a great way to turn your everyday vehicle into a practical camper without the size and weight of a traditional heavy-duty rooftop setup. The Feather-Lite opens quickly and easily, giving you a comfortable, elevated sleeping space wherever your South African road trip takes you. When it’s time to move on, simply pack it away and hit the road to your next destination. Using your own vehicle? We’ll help make sure your roof rack and vehicle are suitable before fitting the tent. Using a rental vehicle? You’ll need permission from the rental company before a roof tent can be fitted. Chat to us before booking and we can help you determine whether your rental vehicle and roof rack are suitable. Pair the Feather-Lite with one of our Bush Kits and you’ll have a compact, travel-ready camping setup for exploring more of South Africa at your own pace.
